Hi everyone,

SO I have a question regarding the K-3 visa:

Me and my girlfriend are planning to get maried in may or june, and since she is a student we would want to spend the summer together here in Montreal. If she spend the whole summer here she would not have an appartment for the summer (her lease end at the end of june and she would get a new one for september or october.

If she doesn't have a U.S. adress would that cause any problem with the procedure ? If so would she be better giving her parent adress ?

Thanks in advance

I still can't beleive I am gonna get married :P

Put the parents US address.

The funds must be taken from a US bank account on a US check.

Mail could be sent to the US address or the Canadian one. The NOA2 is VERY important, do not lose that when you get it! Its very expensive to replace it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Oh, forgot to mention there are no more K-3 visas, they are no longer processed. You will be filing a petition for CR-1 spousal visa.

***** Moving from K3 to CR-1 forum as per request *****

Congrats on the impending wedding! As long as she has a US mailing address, all is fine.
