i guess i'll write something about us here since i fell like we'll have a long stay. Im DeeDee, 21 years old. Me and my current fiance are best friends for 6 years, since we met before we started highschool. His name is Sam, he's 21 as well. I'm in Romania, he's in America. After years of friendship we realised we actually love eachother and made it official in april 2010. He came to see me in December 2010 and left in January, and we're dyingggggggggg. He applied for my k1 visa in 17th march and we started out with problems. more info here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/303290-noa1/ i hope so much we'll be strong and stay togheter till this is solved, cause i feel like im going insane. he cant visit me often so he wont lose his job. how do you people manage to stay strong for so long? :help:

First, we stay strong because there is no other option :P ...it's part of the package deal when a USC and non-resident get married/engaged. My wife and I knew we were going to have to go thru this before we could be together again and still love each other enough to go for it.

Also, for a K-1, it's a real stress test for your relationship. If you can get thru this stressful period, then you can probably get thru any other stress in your life together. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and the same goes for relationships. Not easy, but if you love each other enough, then definitely worth it. Some relationships don't survive this process.

Anyway, welcome to VJ and try to get your fiance to read up here too...a lot of good information here that will save you a lot of trouble in this process...and a lot of very helpful people too.

I meant that, just like a poster said on the other thread of yours, if USCIS made any comments on the forms you submitted, then you will have to fill them out again. If not, keep the same forms and only add the check of $1,070 payable to US Department of Homeland Security. Either way, it's refiling (and you might want to change the date in your timeline and also join K1 April filers on the K1 forum).
