Hello Everyone,

On Jan 23, we received an email from USCIS that our case has been transferred to California Service Center for processing.

On Jan 27, we received another email saying that Californina Service Center received our application and it will take them between 270 and 300 days to mail a decision.

After two weeks on Feb 15th, we received another email informing us that our case has been approved and an approval notice was mailed.

Now what happens from here? Do we wait for the AOS interview? Can someone tell us what to expect from here?

Thanks,

Kal.

No interview for you! Congratulations! :)

You'll get your welcome letter soon, and most folks seem to get their green cards two or three weeks later. You may have to interview when you file to remove conditions instead, but for now, you are among the lucky to be approved without interview. You're done for 1 year and 9 months.

Latest news: Green card received 16 April 2007. USCIS-free until 3 January 2009! Eligible to naturalize 3 April 2010.
