hello all my fiance sent the petition on 17th of March. is already 2nd April and we didnt get any email or anything. he sent it by priority mail in texas. we spent a lot of time on it and we're desperate already. my friend who sent it on march 10th got the email on march 15th and noa1 on march 23th.......he already called uscis countless times and they acted like they were on other planet. what's going on?

we didnt get any comfirmation. i knew uscis sends an email when they start processing it but we didnt get any yet. my fiance said he'll go at the post office on monday because he lost the tracking number i dont think it got lost because he sent it overnight. but he'll go to check it anyway. also he didnt send a check, he sent his debit card info. could that make it slow?

I am sure you will have it soon. We also filed March 17th, had an email notification the 28th, hard copy the 31st. Did you use fedex or the normal postal delivery?

There you go, that's the problem. You will probably get the petition back. USCIS does not accept debit/credit cards for payment. PERSONAL CHECK OR MONEY ORDER ONLY Read the guides.

"USCIS accepts credit cards in all domestic Field Offices that accept payments." Yes a bit tricky but only if you were physically at a field office. In your case you are mailing the petition so this form of payment is not accepted.

Now that you know where the problem is, try call USCIS again and explain your problem. Maybe they had to deal with the same problem before and they'll let you know what to do. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Not to be pessimistic, but even if you have this issue figured out in a week, it will most likely take them (at least) 5 months to work on your case and send you a notice of action. Add the rest of the time and the interview...I'd be planning an October/November wedding.

And fyi, your profile says Texas Service Center. The TSC doesn't process I-129F petitions, so you'll be routed to either California or Vermont Service Centers.

wow wth i didnt know that at all. before i discovered this site few days ago, i was getting my info from a romanian site. they didnt have anything like that in there. still all the girls on that forum that sent their petitions in march in dallas got their emails and noa1 in max 2 weeks. so i guess now we'll have to wait for it to get in cali or vermont, then they have to check it, see we dont have a check but debit card, and send it back to my fiance in virginia? that will take forever, im so afraid this will affect our relationship.....

When we sent our first I-130 to USCIS we didnt notice the tiny barcode didnt print on the bottom of the form but everything else printed...we sent everything in and within two weeks got the entire packet back saying rejected due to out of date form...actually it was the right form but it didnt print the bar code they needed to read it...so we basically had to reprint the form with a different printer and send it in...then patiently wait....until things got so bad in my husbands city we had to request expedite...which they approved so now we are at NVC awaiting case numbers...

They will probably send the packet back rejected...just reprint send a check in and everything will be just fine....remember to breathe during this process...it does take some time and patience...the end result is the prize

you're so right maybe i overreact a bit when i get annoyed i should give him some time to breathe for that mistake he did lol

why do we have to reprint it? the forms are available for 1 year from filling date i think.
