Got Sign in failed yesterday. My husband called the NVC last night and the operator said that our case was completed on Thursday and he said we will just wait the interview date available. But this morning i receive a letter from NVC that there is a missing document, it's my Costa Rica Police certificate. I sent my Costa Rica Police certificate together with my DS-230 packet. Now i got RFE. My husband called the AVR this morning and it says we have a missing document and they mailed it on May 31. Everyday i called the AVR but they never mentioned any missing document except just this morning. Anyone here had experienced like this? Do I need to send again my Costa Rica Police certificate? I hope it just only a fault RFE.

You can send certified copies but, if you do, make sure you take the original to your interview.

No, if you have a co-sponsor, household size will be minimum 3: petitioner, beneficiary, and sponsor. If your co-sponsor is married, has children, or other dependents, then that number will go up.

What is meant by certified copies? I told my wife in Romania to get certified copies and she asked if this means "notarized", or what?

EP question...

I sent my AOS package via email on Saturday but didn't receive any email confirmation afterwards which I thought was unusual because so far EVERY time I email them, I get an automated reply. So today I called an operator and she says that it should've sent an email confirmation, and to be safe and send it again. My email sent folder shows them both sent successfully. But still no confirmation email. The attachment was a 9.69MB PDF so that shouldn't be the issue. Anyone else face this?

Also, on the NVC sign-in for our case it shows the link to PAY for IV fees as active. But when I click on it, there's no fee amount, nor box to choose to pay it. It used to be unactive, so when it went active I assumed it was ready for me to pay.

Ugh, this is frustrating!!

Yes, i think you should follow the operator's advice and resend the docs as the only way to know the docs actually got into the mailbox is thru the auto response.

As for the IV fees, the same thing happened with us last week. just be a little patient and check every so often. Mine appears like two days after it showed available to pay. i think it is a glitch with thoer system. good luck.
