Only 9 more days before my spouse leaves for the interview! Will arrive on a Sunday night, have medical exams on Monday, and the interview on Thursday 7/8!

Wow! Almost there! It's amazing how quickly I forgot about the TSC blackhole... or at least willing to put those memories far behind!

Best of luck to all those with pending actions still! Hang in there! Won't be long! :)

I guess most who frequent this forum have finally reached a point of completion (or near completion) and that would explain the dramatic decrease in postings! Sad,,, yet a very good thing! Wow,,, i will miss the encouraging & sometimes entertaining posts I've enjoyed here throughout my journey! Thanks to all who have shared their personal feelings and to those (Saylin really stands out,,,) who have put much effort into assisting others by posting mucho informative and positive information that has been ever so helpful! I know I have benefited from this forum more so than the support & encouragement I've received from my own attorney! Well,,, I guess they get paid for ensuring it's done right,,, and not so much for making me feel good! Ja ja!

Well,,, Onward Ho!! God bless everyone with their personal journeys,,,and may their journeys end the same as the rainbow ends at the pot of shiny gold (trust me... that is a good thing! :P !)

You forgot something, although we don't post as much as a few weeks ago, I'm positive sure that everyone of us is very attentive to the posts, as you say, we pretty much like to support each other.

We still have some more steps to go through for the next 2 years, I mean the TSC refugees will keep in touch at least for the next 2 years tongue.giftongue.giflaughing.giflaughing.gif

Well,,, the medical exams are complete now. The clinic hit us up for some unexpected inoculations (recommended 2nd doses...about $550 worth!). We don't think they were required, but the physician was pretty animate about not providing the medical reports short of us going to the consulate and getting a letter waiving the extra shots. Didn't want to risk any delays so proceeded with the additional shots. Part of me feels like we were being scammed, but maybe they really were required. Oh well,,, all is complete & she has all the medical exam docs needed to take to the interview this Friday (about 37 hours from now!) It's going to be hard sleeping this Thursday night!!

Do you remember the name of the vaccine?

And good luck at the interview!!

I called yesterday and the automated system said my case was completed on 7/5. Do they send an email notification or do we have to wait for the paperwork to get to the embassy and an interview date is set before they send something?

It takes 2-3 weeks for the interview date to be given after the case is complete? And then the wait for the interview is mostly dependent on when they have room on their interview calendar?

Just looking at timelines and reading on here... Is this all basically right?

Jan-2009 - Met online

Mar-2009 - Became a couple

Sep-2009 - Met in person (2 weeks in Jakarta)

Jan-2010 - Denied B1 visa

Oct-2010 - Married

Nov-2010 - Filed I-130
