Guys i have a question.I paid AOS 80 $ fee bill by money order ..i sended by post mail like 10 days ago.still showing in the system "not paid".i sended DS3032 Choice of agent by email and they receieved. After that they send me email back where they wrote:

"You have been registered as agent for the immigrant visa petition of ...................... The

Immigrant Visa Processing Fee for each applicant indicated on the enclosed fee bill invoice(s) must be paid

before petition processing can continue. An invoice for each eligible applicant is enclosed."

Amount Due: $404.00

And my question is should i have to wait some paper to send me back from the first payment from 88 $ AOS to come on my door or i can pay right the way this amount 404 $.I heard something how i need some number or code from that paper from the first fee bill.is that true ?

That is the IV fee. All information needed for it can be obtained by calling them.

Follow the instructions and send it off. You dont need to wait for them to confirm AOS payment if they have already invoiced it

Its much faster to pay online. Paying online you need the IIN numbers to sign in, which you call them for.

Raj... try this link it tells you everything you need to do at NVC...and the police clearance is a must have for the ds 230 documents...not sure why they got rfe for it but you have to be cautious that you are sending a police clearance that still has a valid date and not expired ...might have to obtain another one prior to interview if it expires before then

Hi Raj...

well as u know u will need ur PCC... and from reading here most of the time people were able to get their PCC just by showing their barcoded page... well my wife is from gujarat and here local police station said she will need a "Checklist letter" from NVC for them to issue a PCC... and the only way u can get that checklist letter is if u get an RFE from NVC...

well i did get the Checklist letter and my wife got her PCC without any problem...

but later i found out that u can submit ur PCC at the time of the interview and u dont have to send it in...

okay with AOS... u will need ur Taxtranscripts for the past 3 yrs..., i also sent in copies of paystubs, Employment letter and since i had a joint sponsor... i had my uncle send in his 2010 tax return and letter of assurance from him..

as for DS-230... original... Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, copy of passport Biography page, PCC

and if ur marriage certificate is in anyother language other than english then u will need an attested translation...

in india i think a notary guy can do it...

hope it helps..

I just called NVC and still nothing yet. I had asked for a supervisor to take a look at my case 2 days ago and nothing is showing up on the system. The operator told me to just resend to be on the safe side. I had sent my supporting documents for the IV on April 18 and I resent it again with a note on May 6 and now he tells me to send it again. For the AOS I had received a checklist and I sent the checklist on May 2 and nothing for that either. I NOW hate NVC!!! :cry2:

Thanks and even if I don't get the interview date in the beginning of July I just want to get out of this NVC blackhole. I saw a nighmare last night. Apparently I had called the NVC AVR in my nightmare and I heard a recording that my petition was denied completely. USCIS apparently had canceled my petiton and I tried talking to a human and the number was out of service and I couldn't get a hold of anyone and was going nuts. I was sooo glad to wake up in the middle of the night lol. And its sooo rare that I wake up in the middle of the night from a nightmare. This journey is really taking a toll on our lives.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean sad.gif

The NVC stage has been (by far) the most stressful part of the process for me. I spent so much time talking to/arguing with operators, listening to the AVR and its outdated information, reading stupid RFEs... that kind of stuff has a way of sneaking into your subconscious. Plus, after the "blind" waiting in the USCIS stage, it seems like you are going to have so much more control over what's going on at the NVC, but it's still pretty much a black hole, as you say. I definitely feel your pain.

But if it's any consolation, I always got good news when I least expected it. They like to beat you down as far as possible before letting you celebrate- haha.

I will agree with KimSue, NVC is a lot more stressful than USCIS was. At least at USCIS, you just waited for your turn.

All my documents have been at NVC since middle of April and I continue to receive false RFE emails that they don't have all my documents. Very frustrating, which is a nice way to put it without cussing.

The standard answer from NVC operators of waiting 20 days is getting old very fast.

Get your stuff together NVC.

I'm with ya!! False RFE yesterday that freaked me out, but instead... it's just paprework "NOT YET" put into my file. It's frustrating knowing you did your part, but lord only knows when they'll do theirs. And of course, you and I both need that first week of July date. I'll take what I can get but after this whole journey, that would be icing on the cake.... I say we just keep trucking onward pretending in our minds that we'll both be interviewing in early July (until they tell us otherwise LOL ha ha ha).

Good lucK! (as I check my sign in again)
