I guess that is the easiest way to get a SIF!

At least that's the first thing I'm telling my wife to do once she crosses over!

I'll get a job as soon as I get an SSN :P Until then, I'm stuck at home.

It won't ever say 'accepted'. It just stays as 'complete'. The only way to know if it was accepted is either through the AVR, an operator tells you, or the IV bill appears.

I just called NVC and they confirmed that it is case complete, but they havent scheduled an interview date yet. They want to call back on Friday.

I signed into http://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx and it still lets me login, no SIF?

Am i doing the wrong site?

Saylin, if you are able to edit ur NVC wiki - mebbe this should be mentioned. Both bigbigblake & me were signing on to the above site and not the payment portal https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx - I thought it was one and the same. AND we were surprised not to get an SIF. Duh us! :bonk:

Well, NVC lets you still log onto the site with the DS-260 in case you have to print something. Plus, not everyone accesses that other site because most people aren't eligible for online forms. That's why most people log onto the first site since that's accesible by everyone. That's where everyone pays bills, so that's the site to go to to see if you have a SIF.

I actually just looked at my wiki and I did mention to check the payment portal site for the SIF. :P

Congrats to all recent SIF's and CC's!! My 20 "business" day waiting period is coming up on Wednesday,,, hopefully more good news awaits between now & then!! :yes:

03/31/10: Married mi hermosa angelito!

07/14/10: Notice Date (NOA1)

11/02/10: Transfer Notice (moved to TSC)

11/29/10: Touch

02/17/11: Received e-mail update - Transferring back to CSC

02/23/11: Approval!!/Post Decision Activity

03/01/11: Received hard-copy NOA2 for cases. Has been forwarded to the Dept. of State NVC!

03/09/11: Case(s) at NVC!

NVC Process (78 days)

03/10/11: Case #'s assigned! Woot!

03/31/11: 1 year wedding anniversary!

04/20/11: Attorney submitting IV application to NVC

04/21/11: DS-260 receipt confirmation e-mail received

05/25/11: Received "checklist" e-mail (asking for AOS docs...but already submitted)

05/26/11: SIF when logging-in to payment portal (all 3 cases!)

05/27/11: Case Complete!
