I sent DS230 & I 864 plus all documentations by emails on april 13. ( OPTIN electronic )

Still has not got a single response from them other than the autoreply back on April 13.

I called today and the operator told me to wait a few more days .

If nothing shows up yet, call them again and they will try to get a supervisor to look at it .

Has anyone have this kind of experience before ?

I'm very worry since they get thousand of applications perday ,it's possible that thing may slip thru the crack.

thanks.

It took about a month for us to hear from NVC saying all necessary documents are received and they will contact us when interview date will be set. Then four days later an email from NVC with an interview date. I think you are getting to hearfrom NVC soon.

You know the people who answer the phone are not the same ones who work on the case :P , they are just a call centre. My husband was told the emails are automatically replied to by a computer in batches so that is why they come in so late at night, then the "real people" review the docs. so basically you are just speaking on the phone to someone who has just screen access and cannot make any changes, otherwise where would they take the time! :D

I prefer my theory because it makes me less mad at them.

CC exactly 2 weeks after Packet IV has been submitted. B-)

I don't think you should send anymore copies. Just wait a week more. Since you're saying they received on May 2nd than it hasn't been 2 weeks since they received it. Give them some more time. I sent my IV package by e-mail on April 18 and it's been more than 3 weeks and they still haven't looked at it. I sent another copy a couple of days ago so NVC is falling behind lately and I don't have a clue why. All of a sudden these RFEs are confusing everyone. NVC has to find a better system to be more current. For example they shouldn't send false RFEs when they have the package in their hands but haven't entered it into the system yet.

I am getting ready to send our AOS & IV Packet in and I have everything for the AOS ready to go but it looks like all of the supporting documents are things we sent with the I-130 application. Do they really need to have us send a second set of these items?

Called the AVR on the 5th and it said my case was completed on the 4th. Called on the 6th and it said case completed on the 5th. Then yesterday it says case completed the 9th! Operators keep telling me it's complete now, so no big deal. I got the same monologue others have been getting... unfortunately we couldn't get you an interview in May, call back next week to see if you got one in June. I know it can take a couple weeks (like Saylin) to get an interview date, but I'm really hoping for June! This is kind of a useless post, but my fingers are crossed for all of us awaiting interview dates.

If you don't want to get an RFE, yes, you really have to send them everything :P

Wow, the AVR kept changing on you! Unfortunately, all I can say is just be patient! You can find out any day what your interview date is! Good luck!

Everything has been sent in now and I know I just have to wait on CC.... but, I'm curious... what does the automated message say for you guys who are in the same boat? Mine says that a packet of information was sent out on April 13...yada yada yada.... I know they just haven't inputed it into the file yet so I'm not stressing about that, but I guess it would be nice to know what others heard while in limbo as well.
