If your husband gave them both of your emails it should all come email format...once that is done email the created template you already prepared right back to them in a day or so they will email you back a confirmation they received and accepted it and will them send the rest of the documents to the choice of agent ... do they base the IR1-CR1 visa on the day of the interview or at the POE?

the reason i'm asking is we're planning on leaving for the States on or after our 2nd anniversary. i read they based it on the interview and not at the POE. we figured to save the trouble and just wait til then.

If you get a CR-1 at the interview, once you're at POE and it's after 2 years, you can change it then. Just point out to the officer that you've been married for 2 years and you should get an IR-1 visa instead.

It all depends how busy your embassy/consulate is. Some people find out within a few days, some within a few weeks (like me), and some have to wait a few months. It always varies.

i did call, no CC yet, still in final review but hoping for CC by end of the day or on Monday!

It'll be soon! I got my SIF on the 9th and on the 11th the AVR updated to say my case was completed on the 10th, so a day after the SIF. And since you did EP, you'll be getting an email when your case is complete, so perhaps you'll get it tomorrow

I know, i am so used to waiting it has become almost second nature. This process teaches us some really hard lessons in life because before all this hoopla i was not a very patient person

Grats on the SIF! By early next week, your case should be closed. Usually CC is a day or two after you get SIF. Once your case is closed, you just wait till an interview date is assigned to your case.
