Congrats Saylin. Sounds like it was a fairly easy day for you (at the interview). Now... get some sleep LOL

Thank you! I went to bed around 11pm, but it took me awhile to fall asleep. But I got a nice 9 hours of sleep. I am feeling so much better today :)

Does it matter who e-mails off the AOS and IV package? I assume both packages have to be e-mailed by your appointed agent...can someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks :)

Nope, doesn't matter at all. I'm the beneficiary and I emailed both packages. As long as NVC gets it, I don't think they care who it comes from.

*headdesks* Finally found the problem; don't use deposit slips to get the routing number. :hehe:

*headdesks* Finally found the problem; don't use deposit slips to get the routing number. :hehe:

I don't know how other banks do it but Bank of America has 3 routing numbers. One for checks, one for electronicaly like at NVC, and one for wire transfers. So I always use the electronic one when I am making transactions online. If I had used the routing number on the checks for NVC payment it wasn't going to work. The routing number on deposit slips should be the same as the ones on the checks.

Hope you get an SIF today!

Actually i just spoke with a sup at NVC and they haven't received the doc i sent for the RFE yet. Crazy people, some one told me on friday all the docs were there and now they tell me she was wrong. I have given up on NVC. Let them do thier thing. Worrying too much about it will just make me crazy so i have decided to be  for now. then i will go full :protest::ranting::diablo::girlwerewolf2xn: on them.

I'm totally with you. I haven't been able to reach the supervisor I talked to last week and in the meantime I've gotten 3 checklists in the past 24 hours, all saying exactly the same thing- that I need to respond to the IV checklist so they can complete my case. Operator says to ignore all the checklists, that my case got "transferred to another department for review" and that I need to wait 10 to 15 business days. They suck.

What should I do? Should I resend IV documents again?

4/18 IV Documents e-mailed

4/19 Received RFE checklist for AOS

4/23 Received checklist for not sending IV documents (cause they didn't get around to checking what I had already sent)

5/2 e-maled RFE response for AOS

I have been calling everyday and IV documents are not in the system yet. Should I email them again with the new checklist barcode? I am thinking I should wait until Friday and if its not in the system I will e-mail again. I just don't want to confuse them with multiple e-mails. Any thoughts?

Jeez, NVC seems to be really messing up lately. Since you initially emailed the IV package on 4/18 and according to the operators, they still don't have it, I'd suggest sending it again. When I had to re-send my packages, I made a note in the email of the date and time I initially emailed the package. As long as you don't email the package every day for 2 weeks, I don't think NVC minds if you email the package again. I would suggest doing it today, don't wait till Friday. It won't hurt your case, will probably help it as it doesn't seem they got your initial email.

Thanks will do. I will call later on and if they still don't have it than I will e-mail again today. But I did get a reply that they had received the e-mail. So I wonder what they say for e-mails lol I mean they can't say its in the building lol maybe they say its in the servers

Ok...called NVC for update this morning to see where my AOS package is...and I found out that my case is complete!!!!!! Imagine my surprise!!!!! :o

I asked about the AOS [package and she said that they have it entered ir reviewed it and everything looks great no RFE!!!! Not only that but the case is closed and the final review DONE!!! My husband is now in Que waiting for interview date to be scheduled!!!!!!

Now ..one quick question....on MY AOS...I make about $700 more than the 125% needed (for 5 of us hubby included) I included my assets totaling about 110k in cashable easily liquidated stocks...which would leave over 70k after penalties...

will we see issues for a co ssponsor or will we be ok thru the embassy as well?

Thanks and good luck to everybody for SIF's SOON!

The routing number on deposit slips should be the same as the ones on the checks.

Not on mine, for whatever reason. Deposit slip number begins with a 5, and the check number starts with a 2. I would have thought it was the same as well, but I finally clued in to the 'this should start with a 0, 1 or 2' on the website. So totally a case of 'huh, this isn't working. Let's read the directions!' :P

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.
