HOW TO TRACK YOUR CASE FROM NVC TO EMBASSY

Any comprehensive reviews or wikis for post NVC written by anyone??? Like Post NVC leading upto interview???

There's not much you do after NVC. You just wait for the interview date to be assigned and then you prepare for the interview. Not much to it. If you have any specific questions though, I'll be glad to answer :)

Hehe, thank you!! :Dkicking.gif

Sorry for it being long, but I wanted to be very thorough!

That was perfect. Every detail counts and helps us poor people still going through this journey.

CONGRATS SAYLIN!!! kicking.gif

And congrats to me for waking up to Checklist #4 (none of which have been for things I actually needed to send)! Hahahaha. Someone at the NVC SERIOUSLY hates me. This one said that I "haven't responded" yet to the last checklist requesting the police certificate... they wish! Although when I called up they told me that this checklist was generated before I talked to the supervisor who requested my case, and that I should disregard it. Still, I can't believe that the original worker would interpret my response conclusively proving that I didn't need to send anything as "not a response." Oh well, all I can do is laugh.

Happy User, I'm pretty sure you will be a happy user well before me, so I will stop cursing you by wishing that we get CC-ed together!

Thanks. That's why I did it, so it can help others. I know I enjoyed reading other people's reviews as it got me ready for my own interview.

Thanks Saylin. Sorry for me being so OCD. The review was great - detailed and perfect. I could actually imagine the whole place and scenario without being there. Ever thought about being a writer OR are you one??? Ur descriptions are so vivid...!

Thanks! Glad it helped you to imagine it. I know there were a few reviews that I read that did the same. And I felt so much better knowing what to expect.

I've actually written a few books, none published though, lol. Just some fantasy books that haven't been edited since I finished writing them laughing.gif

I didn't know they were going to ask for DS-230 as we submitted DS-260 online. So it pays off to fill out the DS-230 in advance. So I guess we do need to provide employment and educational info after all. Thanks for the tip. You were the first one there but Minted7 came as a couple so I guess couples have priority thing continues. I'm just glad everyhting went smoothly for you. Congratulations to you and Ben!
