The AOS and IV are two separate tracks. When did you send in the DS-3032 and when was it accepted? The IV bill only appears once they accept the DS-3032; it has nothing to do with receiving the AOS or anything.

ARGHHHHH!!!! the email was an automated response :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

spoke to an operator and she said they haven't gotten it and she was insisting on snail mailing the ds-3032. i resent the email already. hopefully they take it and the IV fee gets invoiced soon. wasted a week already!

I'm sure it will be fast, but nonetheless, I'm still nervous. And no, Ben won't be joining me. I won't be seeing him again till I get to the USA when I move in less than 2 weeks.

Nope, you can send the AOS right away. If you waited, you'd have to send them in separate emails anyways. So it's just better to send the package off as soon as it shows PAID and you add the cover sheet to the beginning of the PDF.

Well, I do wish you all the best with the interview/POE/moving process, and have a safe drive!

Look forward to reading your review :)

I will definetly e-mail that first then, thanks again! :)

i emailed the ds-3032 on the 20th. do they acknowledge this through the AVR as well? i assumed they got the ds-3032 since they replied to the email.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

"This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record will receive an instruction package regarding further processing of this petition.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process."

after this email we got the ds-3032 and after that we got the AOS bill invoice.

so i paid that and now just waiting for it. i find it odd that it's been a week since the AOS bill was paid and still no IV bill.

They should mention on the AVR they accepted your Choice of Agent form. They did for mine.

And it's not odd at all about the IV taking awhile to appear as the AOS and IV have NOTHING to do with each other. If the DS-3032 isn't sent, then the IV bill will never appear. The IV bill is entirely dependent on the acceptance of the DS-3032.

ARGHHHHH!!!! the email was an automated response :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

I've read that NVC doesn't accept DS-3032s if they're not ready to receive them yet. To know when they're ready to receive is after they send out the initial package with case number and DS-3032. Hopefully you'll get a response soon.

Well, I do wish you all the best with the interview/POE/moving process, and have a safe drive!

Look forward to reading your review :)

Thanks a lot! I'll be writing a review as soon as I get home tomorrow :)

Just Submitted DS-260, emailed supporting documents today.....!

Best of luck Saylin!!! Congrats new April NVC filers.

Grats on your IV progress! Now to just wait for them to review it all.

And thanks. Getting nervous for the interview.

I've seen the DS-3032 be accepted the next business day, so it might not end up being such a big deal.

And thanks! Can't wait to finally end this part of the journey :)

Wow am impressed - Emailed the DS260 supporting docs today at 11 AM and got an email back from a live person acknowledging receipt of the supporting docs.

"Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your correspondence.

We received electronic documentation for this case. The documentation will be reviewed and uploaded to your electronic case file.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

As this case is processing electronically, all forms and documents must be sent via email as scanned attachments to NVCElectronic@state.gov. Sending physical documents to the NVC will delay the processing of your case.

Please include the below case number in the subject line of all future emails.

Sincerely,

Ellyce

Just got off the phone with an operator. NVC gets more and more baffling every day, the operator just told me all my docs have been received and checked but thier system has not automatically completed my case :bonk::bonk: :bonk: now they have to request that a supervisor manually close the case so i can get a CC and get scheduled for an interview! They say it might take up to 10 business days to do that   Now i will go rogue on them and kill their ears with calls this week!

This ever happened to anyone???

I'm kind of in the same boat right now, waiting for a supervisor to close my case. Fingers crossed that we both get CC-ed this week!

Also, good luck on the interview tomorrow, Saylin! Your new picture is so cute!
