So another update on my case. I just paid my $88 AOS fee online and had my wife email the DS-3032 (using the email template that Saylin told me about on page 1).

I guess we are officially on the move. Much better feeling than when we were waiting on USCIS. LOVE IT.

Bah. Just tried to pay the AOS fee, and it says 'payment failed due to payment system not available.' Does this mean I can only do this Monday - Friday, or is there a glitch in the system somewhere?

I also had a problem when I paid my fee bill, tried it many times & it was not going through, but I tried another computer & it worked.

once my case gets closed, will they be scheduling me for an interview appointment? or will i be doing that myself?

Are you using Internet Explorer? Any other browser might give you problems as any government site is designed for IE, and not necessarily for other browsers.

i keep thinking about the mistake i made, question #30 in the DS230 "places you've lived since reaching the age of 16" on the date part, it states "(from/to) or "present" i put present only, damn. . .am i gonna get RFE????

I'm not exactly sure what you did, but this is what you're supposed to do:

City / Province / Country / From/To (mm-yyyy) or "Present"

Rosemere / Quebec / Canada / 04-2010 / Present

DDO / Quebec / Canada / 12-2008 / 04-2010

Rosemere / Quebec / Canada / 06-2007 / 12-2008

What did you do?

You're supposed to put two dates per each location, a from and to date. Did you put a starting date in the first date box?

If you've lived in the same place all your life, then you would have had to put your birth date as the "from" date.

And the "present" part is for the "to". Those date boxes are asking for ("from") and ("to" or "present") dates. Unfortunately, you're most likely going to get an RFE if you left the "from" date blank.

It usually takes 2 weeks to get to a package, so by the end of April you can possibly expect it.
