England is not eligible for EP, so completely forget about it. You have to do it like most others, by mailing packages in.

Have you paid the AOS fee ($88)? If so, does it appear as PAID on the payment portal site? If it does appear as PAID, print out the 'document cover sheet' online, print it out, and attach it to your AOS package. You can then mail off the AOS package. Do not wait for NVC to send you anything as you could be waiting a very long time.

You'll know the DS-3032 is accepted for sure when the IV fee ($404) appears on the payment portal site.

Quick update and followed by a question:

After receiving our NOA2 on March 30th, our case was entered into the NVC system on April 12th and today I was able to add our email addresses. The nice lady that I talked to told me that the two of us should receive email instructions in 4-6 weeks but also added to call back in two weeks if we haven't received any messages.

So the question is what is a more realistic time frame to receive those emails so we can send our choice of agent form and pay the AoS bill?

A more realistic time frame would be a few days. I got my case number on a Tuesday and by Friday night I had received the information package which included all the numbers (case number, IIN, BIN), plus instructions for the DS-3032.

I received my 'packet 4' today! The Interview letter.

But, I'm now concerned over this line:

IF a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) AND provided the NVC with proof of

an IRS Federal Income Tax Extension in lieu of a Federal Income Tax Return, the

applicant must bring the sponsor's most recent Federal Income Tax Return to the visa

interview.

We submitted all the forms to the NVC in March, but will the Embassy require any financial documentation that was

generated by the American financial people (yes I know nothing about USA taxes!) in April this year?

All I know about American finances is that the 'tax' year is always around April.

My interview is in one months time, I'm now worried we'll not receive any forms in time. :help:

The quote you just wrote means that if the petitioner filed for an extension for his taxes, that for the interview he needs to bring a copy of his tax return. Did your spouse file their taxes by April 18 or did they file for an extension? If it's the former, you have nothing to worry about.

She told me she has been working on them, and will mail me the things on Monday. :)

I do doubt my Embassy will ask for the latest financial information, the NVC already have 3 years worth of forms from her. But, just in case I'm asked for any more at the Embassy, I can produce these on the day. :)

As in 'always overprepare!!'. lol.

I was initially worried this morning when I woke up, but speaking to my Wife when she got up, I'm now ok with this. :)

Thanks Saylin. :)

The AVR did not update until my AOS fee was generated for me.

The only reason I found my information was harassing an operator almost daily waiting for a case number, beneficiary ID, and IIN number.

It took me a lot longer then most to get a case number.

It depends which 3 years you sent to NVC. If you sent 2008, 2009, and 2010, then you're absolutely fine. But if you're like me, and sent 2007, 2008, and 2009, you're required to bring 2010 tax information with you to the interview as the deadline for 2010 taxes is April 18 and since our interviews are after that date, we need to bring it with us. My husband filed his 2010 taxes back at the beginning of March, and I made a photocopy of his 1040EZ along with all his W2s and that's what I'm bringing to the interview.

is it best to wait for our NVC case number to be in the AVRS before we talk to an operator and give them our emails?

Just keep calling an operator each day to ask for your case number. You don't need to wait for your number to appear on the AVR before giving your email addresses. And I definitely wouldn't suggest waiting, because some cases never get put onto the AVR, and if you're one of those unlucky ones, you'd be waiting a really long time.

I am about ready to smack the person that refuses to reply to my OPTIN request.

Im sitting here waiting with all documentation complete.

Its almost at the point I would rather have sent it over standard mail and risked losing my originals.
