Masha'allah, I sent the documents to my fiancee on Monday via Express Internation Shipping (USPS). I've been tracking it online and the last update was Tuesday afternoon saying, "International Dispatch, ISC New York (USPS)". It hasn't been updated since. Anyone else have this experience or have any idea what this means?

Yes, it means that once the mail leaves the United States the US Postal Service no longer has any direct means of tracking it, and they rely on foreign postal services to provide them tracking information. Some countries are pretty good about providing this information and others are not. If you get any further tracking information then it will probably be when the package is accepted into customs in the destination country. After that you may get another update when the package has cleared customs, and yet another when it's been delivered. On the other hand, if the postal officials in the destination country are not very good about providing updated information then the status might never be updated again.

Thanks...if I understand correctly, this means that it has left the country already but possibly not been handled yet.

Yes, you are correct. It took from 3/23 New York notification to the 3/28 before I saw tracking to confirm my package had arrived in Morocco and then another few days before it was in customs. It ended up that my fiance went to the post office to pick up the package because we knew it was there by the tracking ID. Give your fiance the tracking number and he will be able to pick it up.

Ok, I'm hoping it will arrive by Monday or Tuesday insha'allah.
