Hello everyone, my fiance is a full time Masters Program student right now, he does have little savings he got from his work before entering into Grad school, he also has financial aid letter, student loans and grant scholarships right now. He falls into poverty level so just wanna ask are those enough to show in his affidavit of support although it wont be tag as his income or do we need to use a co-sponsor (which is his mom) in Manila Embassy? Anyone here in VJ experience same as mine? Im going to schedule an interview next week. I need some of your insight guys.

I have read that only CR1 filers can use a co-sponser in the Philippines. You will be denied on a K1 visa if you require a co-sponser to meet the income requirements. Easy solution is to get married in the Philippines and then obtain co-sponser.

I have also read that in some instances they do allow co-sponsors and our case just totally fit in it because he's a full time student and that why he's taking up Masters program to find a better job/salary in the future. I've read some experience here in VJ that they're case was approved, hopefully ours too.

I hope someone can enlighten me who has the same case with me here :(
