Hi to all VJ members at start we hired an agent to process our papers seems like they are not doing their jobs..at first they submitted the l-130 form but thats it,during this time we are in our ds forms and l-864,the nvc gave us all those links to the forms we are going to submit we already payed everything at the nvc but sad to say our agent will just tell us to wait another weeks so that he will send us forms to sign..i already submitted my ds3032 thru the VJ,s guide,no help from the agent we payed. my husband payed 1,100 dollars in this ezslow visa thing did nt even cared to tell us to submit the aos form to NVC.

Looks like you wasted $1,100. Unless your case is unique, you don't need an attorney. All the information is on Visa Journey.com

My wife and I just got our Visa approval without the need of an attorney.

Good luck

Besides you can get the forms in to the NVC quicker than your attorney.

P.S. You can ask us any questions since we just completed everything. It is good to know several people who have already been through the process to coach you through each leg. I had a lot of questions recently about the Embassy interview phase of the process. Fortunately, someone on NVC had already experienced the situation. It is also good to get a second person on Visa journey that has the same answers so you are not being mislead. I like to refer to that as a second person verification.

Good luck

It was not my idea it was my husband ideas and it was not a lawyer it was an agent, yes he wasted his money..and you are right.

Must be a common occurrence or the USCIS wouldn't have an article on this subject.

Moved from US citizenship forum as not a citizenship issue, to CR-1. Timeline shows OP doing K-3, but they haven't filed the I-129f yet, and since K-3s are being administratively closed and turned into CR-1s this is the more appropriate forum for the OP's concerns.
