Schedule k-1Appointment site not working?

Hello all:

New to this site but have read a lot of post that have help.

We are in the finale let of getting my fiancée over to the states completes everything from the I-129 to DS-160 and am now having a problem using the APPLY online for an interview site.

Have started entering in the required info but when it get to the reason for the Visa , the drop down list does not have K-1 / K-2 listed.

My question is has anyone else had this problem and what to do?

From reading all information, we need the appointment interview confirmation so she can get her physical at ST Lukes. Am I incorrect?

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to VJ, Bill...

Since you want to schedule a K-1 visa interview, you should be using this page.

K-1ers do not submit a DS-160.

To be admitted to St. Lukes for the medical exam, the NVC letter that has your MNL case number on it can be used, The NOA2 also can be used.

So is DS-156 needed in place of DS-160?

The site is a mess and the links are not all working (404),

You only need the following DS forms:

DS-156 (2 copies)

DS-166K (

DS-157 (2 copies)

I agree, the online scheduling can be confusing because K-1 visas are non-immigrant visas which are used with the intention to immigrate. If you are prompted to fill out a DS-160 when you are trying to schedule an appointment, then you know you're on the wrong site.

Tahoma: that site really needs to be fixed, after I got into the appointment I saved & exited without finishing had to check on something but when I when to get back in............had to look all over and find out how, luckily I did a print screen of the UIN number , but all is said and done now.

Her date is May 13.

Here is one more question about the interview.........dose she need the originals copies that I had to sign? As I did the DS-156 online for her and stated that I signed it and sent her the copy, also the I-134 affidavit of support. Should I send her the originals?

wow.... thanks for that letter... really an eye opener and very very helpful. Sad part is they do not mention the CFO. Ah well, guess advising you of the country you live in is not something for their part of the process. But so nice.....
