16% of what? If you have very little then 16% is a lot. You sit in your ivory tower and just don't understand what it is like to try and make ends meet. Typical rich boy attitude. Let them eat cake.

And how do you think they only spend 16%? Because of modern farming methods. If we went to organic farming they would be spending double that. For people that are having a hard time making ends meet that would mean making choices between food, clothing or medicine. You don't know what it is like to be poor. It is obvious you just don't care.

More likely, choices between buying groceries and going to McDonalds, or drinking tap water vs buying soda.
