Hello everybody.

I had sent in Form I-751 (Petition to remove conditions on residence) and I received an RFE

I getting together the required evidence and am about to send it again.

I had q couple of quick questions on assembling and mailing the package

(a) Should I use the 2 hole punch to create the holes at the top and file it in a folder with ACCO fastners or is it is enough to simply make the holes and send it in a regular folder ?

I have read several threads where people punch the 2 holes at the top of their document but none mentioing whether the actually use a 2 hole file / folder to send the documents

I will just say what we did for ours.....

We used the ACCO fasteners and two hole punched everything at the top. We also did tabs along the bottom, so the IO's could find each section of evidence with ease. We did this with our AOS and ROC paperwork. So far, we haven't received an RFE with our ROC and actually did an early bio today.

Good luck with sending your information back in and we wish you all the best.

I used two hole fasteners to hold package together when filing all petitions, and applications.

I used 2 hole ACCO fasteners for the I-751 and my N-400. When I went for my Citizenship interview I saw my file on the interviewer's desk - it was definitely 2 hole punched at the top and used ACCO fasteners, so that is definitely the system USCIS uses. You can either make the holes and submit it that way or use the ACCO fastener. They will take it out of whatever folder you use to submit it and transfer it to theirs.

I never punched any holes or used any fastners in all the stages of my journey with USCIS and my N-400 has been accepted so I guess it's not a big deal.
