While waiting for K1 visa

What do each of you do to pass the time while waiting for your K1 visa to be processed?

Seems I'm running out of things to do. I've read all of the books I wanted to read and watched all of the movies. I guess I could always start weeding things out of the closet to make room for his clothes.

I bought a kayak and mountain bike six months ago and finally got around to using both this summer.

Get those projects done around the house - I laid down some new hardwood floors, redesigned the kitchen and had a new roof put on.

Learn a few new recipes - I can make a mean chili and tom ka gai soup...mmm so spicy!

Online gambling - I've made about 18,000 playing online poker since last March...that should pay for some projects and our wedding...okay, really, I dont recommend this one...most people may end up losing 18,000...I guess I just got lucky..

I know that! I did some cleaning today!, Watched TV, worked in the yard, and wished my fiance were here! Oh well there is always the Visa Journey site to post on and get ideas from!

Agreed. Sometimes I feel less like going out because he's not here though. But that is compounded by the fact that all of my friends moved away while I was gone.

I am living my life normally, like I was doing before when we were just dating and waiting 5 months at a time to see each other again.

Well, often times we play games together on the internet and we talk every night. That helps to pass the time. Also, I think we both understand we're in this for a long haul and that means we can't get our hopes up all that quickly. He has school, I have work, and it keeps us both occupied.

I should have never posted this. This week I was in a major car accident and now my life is in hell. The worse part is that it was my fault. I ran into the back of someone (traffic light was disabled and didn't see his brake lights). My car is most likely totaled. The other 2 cars are damaged and 1 guy says he is injured. Although at the scene he had a red bump on his forehead....I guess he could be hurt....not sure....BUT, he didn't have his seatbelt on that I saw.

So anyway, at the moment my life is in turmoil. I just hope it all gets worked out before my fiance gets here. I would hate to be going thru all of this when he arrives.
