Hi again,

On the G-325A form, my parents information..my mom is deceased, and I don't have the city where she was born, and there is a part that says city and country of residence...do I put deceased in that section for her?

Thanks for any help you can give me

I'm not sure how to handle the residence question .... but I would imagine that either "deceased" or "NA" would be acceptable.

And regarding her place of birth, I can only suggest checking your own BC ..... I know that my BC lists my both of my parent's place of birth .... perhaps your does too???

Good luck!!

hi debby1,

we're more likely in a similar situation. my dad is deceased so i put deceased under city and country of residence... under the date. city and coutry of birth i think theres an open and close parenthesis (if known) so i assume if u dont know then you can say not known??? although im not sure... hope it helps...

edit: wanthimhere is right, check if you can find ur moms birth place on your bc. coz my bc have some info of my parents... and we're both from phil so it would be just the same bc from the nso...

My birth Certificate only has "Birthplace" and under it is "Michigan" for both Parents. so maybe thats all I need then.

I'm really nervous so maybe I'm overthinking this, but RFE's scare me....LOL

Thank you for your reply though. As always, I appreciate the help.

Don't be afraid of RFEs ..... they seem to get processed faster than non-RFEs .... ???? ;)

That us correct for birth place can just put at least country and state/province/county of the parent's birth place. My fiance did not know her parents birth years, so we did not enter, just City, Province, and Country.

And correct about City/Country of residence, if deceased then then enter that there.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

after looking over the papers my fiance sent, I noticed that he put "San Mateo Philippines" under the residence section but his father is deceased also...? Should I have him send a new form or let this one go?

Thanks again for your replies, much appreciated.

In the case of your fiance, I think (and correct me if I'm wrong) that you may be able to cross off the residence section he filled out about his deceased father and just print in Deceased in that space instead if he is really deceased. I don't think you should use white out, but crossing it off (peeps help me out here).

ok..I'm sending my I-129F package tomorrow..so, I should put a line through where my fiance put "san Mateo," for residence of his father, and write in "deceased" next to it?
