I just got off the phone talking to a CS and he basically just gave me the generic answer that all of us already knew. **sigh** He said my wait is not even beyond 90 or 120 days so there's really nothing he can do for me. He said to not hesitate calling them again if after that period of time and I still have no oath scheduled. :crying:

N-400 NATURALIZATION

04/04/2011 - Mailed N-400 to AZ Lockbox

04/07/2011 - NOA

04/07/2011 - Check cashed

04/14/2011 - Biometrics appointment in the mail

So typical of them to give a generic answer....

Thanks, v333k. Waiting sucks! I know I shouldn't be worrying coz I still have my 10-year GC, but the fact that you did everything according to the book and yet more waiting is just plain insane. You know what I mean?

I think most of us know what you mean... however, we are not experiencing it the way you are right now. At least you are done with all the previous steps and waiting on the oath...

I wonder if you can call the District office directly (or where ever they hold the oath ceremony) and ask about oath schedules. You might end up talking to a nice person whom will be willing to provide you this information. Also, I am not sure how, but I read a while back from other members that they were able to talk to their IO.... again, not sure how.

The oath schedules are actually posted on our District Court's website. I hoped to be part of the July 19 but didn't happen, then Aug 18, which is next to impossible now, then Sept 15, which I am really, really counting on.

Soooooooooooo... after being put under scheduling que since June 29, I finally saw the light at the end of this long and dark tunnel.

Oath Ceremony

On August 16, 2011, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Hopefully this is for the Sept 15 oath ceremony. We will find out when I get the physical letter in the mail.

It will sink in when you are standing in line at the DMV to prove your legal presence in the US for the last time.

Marie just got her voter card today. We are still waiting for her passport and for them to return her Nat. Cert. Someday, jury summons. :lol:
