I have a valid NBI but it was from sept 2010 and my interview is in a couple of weeks will they ask for a 2011 NBI or will the valid NBI from 2010 be ok ? K 1 Visa in Manila Philippines?

NBI is valid for a whole year.

I'm not sure but if you want to be safe get a new one.

I also agree...just get a new one to be safe..as far as I know it's only good for 6 months..God bless..

2010-07-12 -Filed for AOS & EAD(USPS Express Mail)

2010-08-12 -USCIS received the package

2010-14-12 -Received text & email from USCIS that they accepted our AOS & EAD Application..HAPPY BDAY MARIA!!

2010-20-12 -Got our NOA1 letters in the mail for our I-485 & I-765...A wonderful Christmas gift for us!!

2011-19-01 -Received Biometrics schedule!!

2011-07-02 -Biometrics done!!..thanked God!!

2011-17-03 -AOS Interview..APPROVED!!

2011-24-03 -GREENCARD received!!..it's green indeed!!..lol..

To not waste time, just get a new NBI. They sure want a recent one dated much closer to your interview date.

Why would you wait and not just get a new NBI now?. It's fast to renew a NBI certificate(you can finish it in 1 day). If you go to your interview and they tell you to get a new NBI certificate, it will just delay your visa releasing or worst is they will not approve you. They expect you to prepare things ahead and it's not their fault if you couldn't provide what they need. I would agree that it would be best to just get a new one. God bless!

cause even though i did not do anything there is a hit on my NBI now so it will take 15 days lets just hope my old valid one will be enough
