Oh, and my reading comprehension skills are just fine. I think the real problem here lies in your apparent difficulty with expressing yourself with the written word in such a way to reflect correctly what your thoughts are internally. If more than one of us continues to interpret your words in a particular fashion, it's not a terribly large leap to see that there is some sort of a disconnect between thought and word.

Well, all I'm seeing is someone who refuses to see that what he writes is being consistently (mis?)interpreted by others. I think that if you want us to understand what you are trying to say, it might be useful to phrase it differently. Perhaps the fault is on our collective side, perhaps it is on yours. But I seem to recall from my days poncing and faffing about in various ivory towers that our liberal elite masters taught us that one should pitch one's manner and mode of communication to one's intended audience.
