I haven't looked into it, but does it even matter to a rapist what a woman is wearing? My bet is that it matters less than one might think.

Even if they are, so what? Clothing is not an indicator of sexual availability in our culture. I find it entirely ironic that you advocate the views of cultures that you elsewhere apparently despise, it's really very funny in a sick way.

It would seem as though Paul is under the impression that women can't speak and have to rely on other forms of communication in order to express themselves. I can not see how else it's plausible to suggest that a women who dresses 'slutty' should expect unwanted attention in the form of sexual assault. Of course it remains unsaid that in order to prevent such an eventuality women should dress more conservatively while leaving entirely to the imagination what exactly slutty dress or safe dress is. It's quite puzzling, particularly as Paul claims to be an expert on human behaviour, all-be-it an armchair expert.

You are missing the entire point in all of this.

The problem with people like you, is that you cannot comprehend one being against something, yet at the same time saying how things really are. You try to equate stating reality with being the same as a person's views.

As I said, I don't think these women deserve to be attacked, however when they get unwanted attention, they did ask for attention in the first place. That negative attention doesn't necesarrily mean them being 'raped' either. It could be unwanted sexual advances of any sort. You can't get mad at a guy who says "nice tits" to you when you are flaunting them in his face, etc.
