Gosh. He is saying plainly - drinking = consents to whatever might happen after.

She consents to drinking = she consents to DRINKING ONLY. Not anything in the future. What is so difficult to understand?

So please tell me how a girl consenting to whatever happens after drinking can be rephrased or rewrote as a girl consents to getting raped after drinking?

I don't see how rape got thrown into the equation. Did he mention rape in a previous post today?

Unless she's a ####### and then clearly no matter what she says she's up for a shagging but even so, just to be sure the guy has to lie about the reason he wants to shag a ####### because after all, a ####### expects to be lied to and of course why would a ####### care how she is referred to afterwards? This only respect respectable women is really 21st century stuff and yet these 'men' claim to be more advanced than muslims in Afghanistan. .

It's not a leap. Especially since the conversation for the last few pages is alcohol + sex. Regardless if she chooses to drink (aka consents) that does not give carte blanche consent for whatever else is to happen afterward.

I am pretty sure that its a very very very small minority of women who down several drinks then says - "hey! ok ! i consent to whatever else should go down tonight - whatever that may be! yay!"

How does one discuss 'sexual consent' without non-consensual sex being thrown into the equation? It is there by definition.

Well there are pre-sex acts that I imagine a woman needs to consent to. For example if I was really drunk and had the urge to lick her face.
