You can read into that post what you want, and yes I can see as to where it may look he condones rape but he isn't. I know where he's coming from with that post. To the Starbucks peeps who watch "Friends" ya he might look like he's condoning rape, but to guys who have been there and done that, no he is not.

Agreed, Marilyn. If everyone consents at every stage, who gives a damn what they do, why they do it or if the pick up locale was a bar or church. Implied consent does not occur just because a woman drinks one, two, eighteen or whatever number of drinks.

He wasn't condoning rape with that post. What he was saying is that gals go to the bar to look for guys, they get drunk and they have sex. That pretty much sums it up.

Really? Because to me, it looks quite clear that he is condoning rape. Implying that if someone consented to drinking then they consent to sex after the fact is not only ignorant, it is factually false from a moral and a legal standpoint. If this isn't what he was trying to convey, then perhaps Slim should articulate himself more clearly. It's not the first time Slim has made statements like this, and I doubt it's the last. That doesn't make it any less repugnant.

I am open to persuasion on this matter. Please Why_Me, show me how Slim's statements are not condoning rape.

How is she lying about not being 'that kind of girl'? You seem to be saying, yet again that dressing a certain way (which is still not been usefully defined) indicates ones willingness to have sex without actually engaging in the 'do you fancy a shagging? conversation. No, it does not. No matter what way someone is dressed you have to actually have that conversation and what is more, a woman can still turn around and say no even once petting has started. So, no, there is no, if you buy her a drink then you can expect sex in return if a girl dresses like a ####### consent So, if you feel that in order to get into someone's pants you have to lie to them then you are not much of a human being, much less much of a man.
