Packet 3 - No I-134 ???

My husband just received his packet 3 for his interview in Casablanca. The instruction sheet had the evidence of support section crossed out, and no I-134 sent with packet. The form is no longer required?

That's odd, can you call the consulate to find out why or NVC?

I downloaded one and had it notorized and sent to him with one of my friends last week.

It's really strange cuz the instruction sheet has it crossed out in black felt pen. And no forms in the packet. He is going to take it with him anyway but I was suprised to see that. With the Casa embassy being so tough we have no room for error. I think I will email them and ask just to be sure.

They told me it was not needed in an email but I think that is incorrect so I send one anyway just to be sure.

Its not strange. According to DOS, K3 applicants are not "required" to have I-134. That just depends on CO if he/she wants an I-134. Here is link

In simple terms it says that K3 applicants are not required to submit I-1864 OR I-134, however, if CO deems it appropriate, he/she may ask for an I-134 to be submitted.
