That would make sense, right? The letter we got said to return to the consulate specifically for fingerprints and when we called to see if it was for ASC and should we make an appointment they couldn't tell us anything. They just said we had to do what the letter said so if it said to go to the consulate then that was what we had to do. When he was inside they had him use the old fingerprint machine they had been using a couple weeks back before this mierda began. I'm not sure what would have happened if he had gone...

We are considering both options:

1) My fiance comes back to Oaxaca (where we live) after Juarez and then we travel together to San Fran.

2) I go to San Fran with our baby and he goes to Juarez. After Juarez, he crosses the border on foot and flies from Texas to San Fran.

Right now, we are leaning toward the second option mainly because I think that he should be in Juarez in case something goes wrong (like they need new fingerprints or more information). I hate to have him cross the border by himself but that is looking like the best option at the moment. Either way, he goes to Juarez alone - poor guy.

(How Juarez received before NVC sent is beyond me. I'm just reporting what I've been told.)

04/25/2011 - "Packet 3" arrived to my fiancé's house in Mexico

05/02/2011 - Medical

05/03/2011 - ASC

05/04/2011 - Interview

05/11/2011 - Entered the United States of America for the first time in his life

05/16/2011 - MARRIED!

My friends husband just received an approval on march 2nd of his visa. From what the consualte is telling her is that they lost all of his document(passport, visa, letter, medical records) they received everything, the visa was printed out but nothing ever left the consulate. His approval was on the March 2nd 2011. It's may 19th and he still hasn't received it!

May 2005- Met my husband

June 2005- Became a couple

September 2006- 1st son born

July 2007- 2nd son born

June 2010- Married

September 2010-Hired our Lawyer

October 15th 2010- Petition Sent in

December 2010- 1st daughter born

February 7th 2011- Petition Approved

August 3rd 2011- recieved our appointment

September 1st 2011- 1st appointment- denied, but approved for a waiver

November 14th 2011- 2nd appointment, turned in waiver

_ _ _ _ _ - Visa Approved (still waiting as of February 18th 2012)

what??? that's crazy. i guess maybe im not so surprised, but its kind of incredible to what degree they will sometimes mess with people. what have you heard about his visa? maybe you should try to get a congressman or senator involved.
