in VN we waited over 8 months and a friend has been waiting alround a year and a half... it varies and all that you can do is to keep making inquiries to the DoS & embassy and have your congressional rep make an inquiry from time to time..

Pavi--cool your jets. It will take however long it takes.

Give your wife your undying support every moment since she is the one going thru this first hand, and you are the one panicking--NEVER let your panic show thru to her--support her--calm her--call her or email her with your support and love every day. By calming her, you will also calm yourself.

We were denied visa at the Delhi Embassy

"An investigation in the case indicates that petitioner and beneficiary have married solely for immigration purposes"

The petition is being returned to NVC in the US.

here are the section

- 212(a)(5)(A)

- 212(a)(P)(6)©(1)

We are in "cannot explain"

Our marriage is real one and nothing there that will suggest otherwise.

Please suggest/help us...what can we do it?

If you are in Administrative Processing, you just have to wait it out. It will come to an end, don't worry. Just be patient. It is a common thing for certain countries. Just keep your chin up!

I am confused, though. Have you been denied or are you in Administrative Processing? Because in your other post, you said you were denied.

Ah, yes I read that, so I was wondering why he was asking again in this AP thread today. I think they need to combine his two threads.

You might want to learn about this woman's case. It's Egypt, not India, but she had a CR1 and it was reaffirmed after 13 months. Read what she did:
