A friend of mine in the UK works for one of these companies - handing out the assignments. I went with her a couple of times to restaurants and it was pretty good fun. If I hadn't been leaving to come to the US I would have signed up.

When i wasd working in Pac-Sun there were a few ppl that came up to ne so I could be a mystery Shopper it was fun doing it you get to keep the stuff you buy with the money they give you plus what they pay you for doing it

I know mystery shoppers exist. I have been visited by a few while I used to work at customer service-oriented jobs. However, how do these mystery shoppers get their job? I'm looking for a way to get some extra cash and why not get free meals/stuff at the same time? Does anyone know of a reputable mystery shopper company to get registered with??

I mystery shop for several companies, part-time for extra $$$$ (in additional to my real job). It's not a bad way to earn some extra cash. You can pick and choose the days you want to work). You do have to have good writing skills and be detail oriented (and have a good memory). Check out this website for good info mystery shopping.

BTW: NEVER PAY TO BECOME A MYSTERY SHOPPER.
