I asked my fiancee from Moscow to obtain police certificate in advance. The date is mid-December 2010 on the certificate. Due to known delays at USCIS her interview is scheduled for April 22nd. Is it still valid? 4 month between police certificate in Moscow and interview. Is it still valid?

Its valid for a year. 4 months is definitely an OK one. (source: russian version of VJ, some ladies had clearance 6 months old by the date of interview and were fine)

09/01/11 - AOS sent

09/06/11 - NOA1 for AOS packet

10/03/11 - Biometrics

One more important remark "it has to be valid untill the expiration date of visa", means its still within the year.
