NVC received our documents on March 17, and I've been waiting for an email saying that they've been logged into their system. I called once and the woman I spoke to said it could take some time for that to happen. I called the AVR last week and the last thing it had was that they had issued us a case number. I just decided to call for the heck of it and it said our case was complete!!! :dance: Is it possible, that quickly, with the CR1 visa? I thought it took a month or two. I hope it's not a mistake. Has anyone ever had their case completed in a little over a week?

They said to expect to receive some information (or something like that, I was in shock lol) in the next 8 weeks...if not, to call.

Does that sound right to anyone?

Thanks Sam!!!!! :D This is a great week for us, huh?! Yes my husband will be catching that interview train soon And it's been a long road, it will be a year next month since I filed the petition.

Thank you Yes it is long, and sometimes it feels like there is no end in sight. But hang on, because there is..........just find things to keep yourself busy while waiting. That's the key, to stay busy and try to keep your mind on other things other than the process 24/7., although that's not always easy, I know;)........good luck to you
