Wow!! Really?!!! :)))

NVC received our documents on March 17, and I've been waiting for an email saying that they've been logged into their system. I called once and the woman I spoke to said it could take some time for that to happen. I called the AVR last week and the last thing it had was that they had issued us a case number. I just decided to call for the heck of it and it said our case was complete!!! :dance: Is it possible, that quickly, with the CR1 visa? I thought it took a month or two. I hope it's not a mistake. Has anyone ever had their case completed in a little over a week?

They said to expect to receive some information (or something like that, I was in shock lol) in the next 8 weeks...if not, to call.

Does that sound right to anyone?

From evthing Ive read if you can do it online and get all the documents in asap...it doesnt take but 2-3 weeks at NVC... ))) YAYYY good luck on the interview!!!!!

Im not sure of the process AFter NVC except it goes to the embassy )) so be sure to read evthing you can about your specific embassy...and know evthing and practice interview questions...anything you can do to make him less stressed for the interview and more confident about the process !!! GOOD LUCKK!!!!!! ))

Lisamarie!!!!! OMG girl today has been a plethera of wonderful news! First Egyptian Embassy, then Sam's interview, and now you!!! YAY!!! WAAHOOOO!!! March definetely came in like a lion and is going out like a lamb eh? CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a wonderful pre-trip surprise!

As far as how fast NVC completed your case my dear, breathe easy its no mistake... I sent out our papers to NVC before I left for Egypt in mid January and we got our SIF and CC by the end, so a little under 2 weeks, so relax and bask in this victory, YOU DESERVE IT!!! WAAAHOOOOO!!! Goodness all this happy dancing I have been doing these past 2 days has me a little loopy!

How is the last minute packing going? Are you SUPER EXCITED???

I was thinking the same thing Amber, so much good news all at once!!!! Yay!!! And what a pleasant surprise before my trip :dance: I had no idea it could be completed so quickly, I was in shock and had to call again to make sure I put in the right case number lol

So what now, they will send a packet to my husband with everything he needs for the interview and schedule a date?

I am all packed, BUT everything isn't fitting in my suitcase so I have to transfer it to a larger one..... I wanted to travel light because I have an overnight stay on the way back and I'll have to get my luggage. But I can't find anything that I can take out and leave behind, so I'm graduating to a larger suitcase
