My Fiance is Liberian, but when I met her in 2008 she lived on a Liberian Refugee camp in Ghana. Before I left Ghana to come back to the states, I brought her a ticket to go back to Liberia to see her mother, because she hadn't seen her since she was 15 years old. When she was in Liberia she tried to get a visiting visa to come to me, and of course they denied her under sec 214 101(a)15b for not proving she would go back to her country after her visit. The embassy in Liberia is a nightmare anyway, she went back to Ghana and I saw her last year during the WorldCup. Now Hear is my question, The paperwork is going to the Ghana Embassy, does she need to have something stamped in her passport to say that she is a resident of Ghana, and if not will she have to go back to liberia.

Help me out guys....before this thing is approved, which will be soon, cause I'm coming up on 6 months next Monday.

I am pretty sure it's not a problem. You can have the paperwork sent to any consulate the beneficiary can get into. You don't have to be a resident. Anyone else want to confirm?

She doesn't have to be a resident there, as long as she has an address there where she can get her mail, and I would think she would need to list an address on her G-325A for the I-129F and forms for the embassy interview.

She's got to show a documented prove that she resides legally in Ghana before she can be interviewed there. Without this, there's no way she can be interviewed. You need to sort this out with her before it becomes the means of a further delay. If she wants to be interviewed in Ghana, then she's got to begin working on getting a permit to stay in Ghana. Other than that, she's got to go back to Liberia and be interviewed there. If this wasn't the case, filiers in Ghana would have requested to be interviewed in some other country real quick instead of waiting for over 12 months for interview date - something to think about.
