I tried the receipt number, which is what the web site called for and no case was found. Any other ideas ?

Did you send the letter to withdraw the affidavit of support? I didn't only suggest this as a way of finding out of she's been issued a green card. I also suggested it because if she manages to adjust status then that affidavit becomes legally binding on you. You have the right to withdraw it up until the immigration benefit is granted. Withdraw it now.

The online case status system is notoriously unreliable. Some cases never make it into the system, and many others are never updated. Did you enter the entire number, including the three letter prefix (MSC)?
