True, the Democratic vs Republican fight is primarily a fight between white people. The rest of us matter a little, but not much. We're basically spectators to a white v white duel to the death. In one corner, there's Bubba wearing the NASCAR t-shirt holding a can of cheap American beer. In the other corner, there's Yuppie sipping on some gay french wine clothed entirely in hemp.

Do you really think it is more likely that al-qaida is going to attack a target like Iowa, or some sort of Ruby Ridge incident? Nothing that I could actually share with you. We get briefings all the time about possible scenarios and responses. Mostly, they are specific to each area. So, the briefings that someone in NYC gets is definitely going to be different from someone in Ames, Iowa because of the nature of threats to those regions.

Paul, this further illustrates your delusions of paranoia. The Jared Laughner situation wasn't political and I have never made it out to be, there is no need to lie. However, it is a situation, that should be prepared for, at least on some level. That scenario could have been prevented, that was the true tragedy.

It's really quite simple Paul, I don't quite understand the disconnect here. These sorts of exercises are not a new phenomenon and are tailored to the threats, as perceived by security experts in the region. You're not going to prepare for a Tsunami in Minnesota are you?

Are you serious, or are you really that deluded to think that this is an unlikely situation to happen, in Iowa? Where were you when an unhinged, borderline racist 20 something shot a politician in the head over his insane political musings? I think it is far more likely that we'll see an unhinged middle aged man from Pennsyltucky go on a shooting rampage than it is to see some "arabic guy with a bomb or a gun, or a korean or chinese guy with a knife." You are only upset because the light is being shone down upon you and your ilk's blatant racism.
