Didn't the OP mention that his visits with his fiance were chaperoned by her mother?

I believe I read summat about chaperoned visits, but the OP is not the one with the 10yr age diff...

Do we know Keith's age difference? Or that he's had sex with his fiancee? (I find Ana and Dan's speculation that he must have had sex with her when she was 15, long before he knew she even existed, to be quite amusing.)

Well, my issue is with crow_dio and his 10 year age difference with his 17 year old child fiancee. I think it's wrong, I think it's ikky...I also think a 5 month relationship, 3 of which living together with a minor is wrong. I also happen to think that this process is dauting enough for the best of em as far as leaving your homeland...and for a child in a country which still needs parental consent for marriage until 20? This child is going to be cut off from everything she knows. Most probably emotionally not as mature as American 17year olds...but EVEN SO...he's with a child 10 years his junior for 3 mos and they're getting married?

Absolutely deplorable imo.

If one truly loved this child, one would give her the freedom to become a woman before having her to commit her life to something of which she probably hasn't the first clue what she's getting into. Get her a student visa...support her emotional growth.

This child needs freedom to become a woman, not a decade older sugar daddy...

Me too. I don't really care about the OP. I'm concerned about this crow_dio character and the fact that he may be representative of a lot of people. The difference between 37 and 27 is a lot different than 27 and 17. 10 years CAN mean a lot, and it weirds me out.

Why do adult American men want to marry little tiny women who may or may not speak good English and have not even finished puberty, and who they met a few months ago? Seriously, just buy a sports car.

i work in a college prep high school...MATURE children...Even these kids at age 17 ... even 18 are no where NEAR ready to get married...not even to someone their own age. If it is true that Thai women are LESS Mature...it would concern me TONS. I am 27 myself...and I know that the age gap...10 years....going out with a 17 year old boy....I mean what would we have in common?? I don't know..I think it's pretty messed up...

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

If you were 19 marrying a 17 year old, I wouldn't have a big problem with that. But 27 with a 17 year old? You bet your ####### I have a problem with that. What about at age 25, woud you have married a 15 year old? Or at age 23, would you have married a 13 year old?

27 and 17 -- what's the big deal? Both are young and have similar interests.

Now 47 and 17.... that would be a different story.
