medical insurance for new immigrants?

I found this website a long time ago and looked at it again recently...it has information about new immigrant insurance but wondered if anybody else purchased this type of insurance for thier spouse prior to being able to include on a family plan?....also I am unfortunately having to payu my own insurance not a group rate and wondered if anybody could give me any info on another insurance company that i could look into for both of us within the next year...until then..and until he is living here for 6 months or more...could someone tell me if this site would be something tolook into for HIS insurance?

08/19/2013 Received NOIR to respond by 9/18/2013

9/9/2013 Responded to NOIR/USCIS received documents awaiting response

9/20/2013 USCIS reaffirmed sent to embassy

1/04/14 Case opened for review

8/31/15 Interview- no questions visa approved on the spot

9/8/15 visa status issued

9/10/15 visa received

9/19/15 POE Charlotte
