CONGRATS!!!!! How long from your email did you get your case #...OMG your right they are scary at NVC telling you it will be 4-6 weeks bfore updating into system :blink:

i never emailed them, i just called...

sorry i meant from the time you got notification you had been approved... we got our email notification on the 24th and just recceived the hardcopy in mail yesterday when i returned from work...but im hoping to see our case number within the week or so...just trying to get an idea of how long from hardcopy or email notification on average...they always say wait for soooo long...they wont even tell me if my case is in the building waiting to be updated and logged with case number...

Well I called NVC today and they officially have our case :) They said for me to call back in a few days and maybe our numbers will be assigned :)

I expedited on the basis of humanitarian reasons because of the civil unrest in Karachi. I submitted a letter written by myself and a news story about the bomb right outside our home.

In other exciting news: received choice of agent form and AOS bill by email today!

so its moving ahead!!! YAYYYY...I'm not sure how long it will take to get my case numbers but im guessing a week or so...maybe 10 days...did you give them both of your emails the last time you spoke with them? kind of unsure how that step actually works i guess... keep me posted...im just one step behind you! :))

yes, they asked for mine and his email when i called using the case number. the case number took 6 days to be assigned from the day they said they received the case

Oh that's really good...the ppl answering make it sound like its going to take 2 months...so hopefully then I should find out our case numbers next week :) and at that time ill give them our email addresses so they can send evthing via email and we can pay the fees etc online asap... :)) keep us posted!!! I'm so glad this part is almost behind us...now i can see the end of the tunnel even tho its still far away ;) at least I see it :)
