Hi folks,

I just rang up the medical people and (thinking about it now) stupidly gave up my 6th of April at 9:30am appointment (I hope someone on here gets it instead) and I'm now scheduled for an hour later on the 18th.

I'm not sure why I said yes to this, because at most it gives me just an hour breathing room, and doesn't let me travel any cheaper... :(

I realise I'm still waiting on my lovely Wife to be and my future mother in law to send me the I-134s, so the interview couldn't happen until then, but if I have my I-134s in hand and haven't had my medical, do the Embassy ever make interview appointments?

The next appointment would have been the 20something at 1:50pm. I felt that was just too long to wait...

The only upside I can think of is it gives me chance to walk from the bus station to the Medical without being hurried, and I can maybe stop at Buck Palace on the way and take some pics like a real tourist ;)

David.

As far as I am aware no, you will need to carry the medical documents with you when you go for interview.

You will have to work with either one - either with consulate to push the date as medical is not available or work with medical asking them to give you some time before your appointment.

Unfortunately medical office and consulate dont work in sync. :)

The embassy won't schedule an interview until they receive the medical results. It takes 5 working days for them to get to the embassy. I waited maybe a little more than 2 weeks for my interview letter, saying my interview was 3days later.

Also get the megabus/megatrain if you can. I used it for all of my trips to london, it's well cheap.

The embassy will have your medical results on file when you go (they told my fiance it would take 5 days for them to be transferred), but they also give you documentation for later.... apologies that I can't describe it any better, I actually haven't seen it ;-)

I think we almost got your dropped spot! my Fiance and i were calling the medical office to see who would get thru after we spoke this morning and she said their line was busy every time....she offered a date of 26th but said Wednesday was available, unfortunately my Fiance will not have her police cert by Wednesday so i had to stick to the 26th, was hoping we can get a date for like next week Wednesday or something.

So i notice people saying after the medical, it took 5 days to get to the embassy, then they got their appointment letter 2 weeks after?
