They know this also. I made the mistake (big) of saying at one of our Russo/American parties something like "Oh well, there are 20 million more where they came from". So on the way home I start to speak to Alla in Russina and she says "Speak English!" Voooowhat? "I am not going to keep you in practice so you can get rid of me and go back for more women"

Just about every broad Iv'e been with including this one is college educated, intellectual, etc... I want a dumb one...and I mean that literally...like one that doesn't have any vocal cords and can't speak. Broken dishes I can handle...just buy paper plates, but the b*tching... naw..no way.

I find dumb women annoying. Bitching is unacceptable. I just say "Alla, stop it" and she says "I'm stopping" That's it.

Yes, serious. She gets it that we aren't going to have THAT discussion, whatever THAT may be. Sometimes it just is not worth it. One of those "this can NOT end well" kind of things, so why do it? Not to say she doesn't pout about it, that's OK.

She has no brothers or sisters. She has one Ukrainian friend in Russia that desparately wants a man. She asks Alla to fix her up with an American guy all the time, no kidding. I have no idea what she would be like to live with.

Twins I would go for but single 18 y/o girls... I too would rather meet their mother. The young ones haven't developed the "experience" the older ones have. Soviet-era skills acquired at the Sparrow School or through life experience are something the young ones just can't seem to find of vkontakti or facebook or whatever.

Twins cancels all that out so, by law, you're required to go for twins.

Exactly why I practice Russian. I should know more and I'll admit, I've pretty much stopped actively pursuing new vocabulary but I try my best to speak well the little bit that I do know. I'll never lose the "good enough to get by" base layer that I commited to ROM a long, long time ago. The RAM is all but devoid of new Russian vocab but the good ol, "hi what's your name nice to meet you you're beautiful let's go to the hotel" will never, ever, EVER disappear.

You and I definitely hit different night clubs. When I was over there it was like 18 going on 30. The only thing that separated them was the amount of birthdays under their belt and the amount of sag.

Congratulations. It's a good feeling that it's harder for something to go wrong now (or so that's my take one it lol). We got 5 welcome letters lol. The money USCIS probably wastes on those extra mailings... We have to wait to file naturalization. We thought about it when he was eligible (Summer 2009) but then I got a job out of state and traveled a lot. That caused denial for some others we knew, so we didn't want to chance it. So starting this summer we'll restart the "2-years living together" clock.

Yesterday 4 envelopes from USCIS arrived. Two had letters for Alla and Pasha announcing their Unconditional Green cards were approved and the green card would arrive in 60 days or less. The other two envelopes had the green cards.

No interview, no nothing. we sent it in in October, did the biometrics in November, headr nothing until yesterday.

The card was delayed a bit, her old card expired in January, so in about 8 months she can apply for citizenship and rescue me from the USCIS torture system.
