What background or qualifications does she have for 'management consulatant'? Her background and education must match her position

Management consultant

Baccalaureate or Licenciatura degree; or equivalent professional experience as established by statement or professional credential attesting to five years experience as a management consultant, or five years experience in a field of specialty related to the consulting agreement. Baccalaureate or Licenciatura degree

She'll need probably a bachelor degree in business. Does she have that?

Also, you'll likely run into the fact that you guys are dating and you'll have to combat the fact that you are simply hiring your girlfriend, not the most qualified person for the job. How do you plan on having her answer those questions?

Consult a qualified immigration attorney for advice

I was denied entry, it stinks but if she brings stronger ties then she could increase her chances of entrance

Good luck

PS - no more K3 visa

Hi,

I have a question. Since your girlfriend has ever got denial of entry due to no strong ties to Canada, I believe it would have impact on her TN visa. TN is a non-immigrant visa! I have a same situation as ur girlfriend. Now i am so worried..... Does everybody have any information on it? Can i get in as a vistor, then apply for TN in the US? I am an accountant by the way.

You need to talk to a US Immigration Lawyer.

I do not see how the TN fits.

The H1b would be an October start if you qualify. L might be an option, how many Canadian employees do you have.

I'll be talking with an immigration lawyer tomorrow.

She has a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management and 3 years experience in resort management and 3 years experience as a manger for the canadian branch of the company that is launching in USA.

With that criteria, she should be qualified to get a TN Visa. (her being my girlfriend aside).

Am I making sense, or is this a pipe dream?

I can not see a TN Category that she would fit into.

How big are your Companies?

The companies are small. Under 15 people. They are tour companies. She is very skilled at this unique profession and has a management degree in tourism. Managment consulting...

Does anyone have a comment on the validity of what I'm proposing?

Not going to happen. You better bite the bullet and get married - she could be in the US in about a year's time - not sure if Montreal is still as backlogged as it was reported previously.
