LOW ITRs but Current Job pays above Poverty, is it biggie?

does anybody there that has the same case w/ me? my fiance's ITR are low below the poverty level.. but got his new work just last year that pays above the poverty level w/c pays for 5 household members plus every month he receives $540 from military benefits.. he has 2 kids but not living w/ him & he is supporting them $300 a month and i have a son w/c is included in the petition. ITR is biggie? or what is important is his current job that could support us? thanks I hope could anybody answer this... God bless us all in our journey

You have to go to the Federal Poverty Guidelines and look up family of five. The military requirment is slightly less than 125% above the poverty line. Yes you must qualify for a family of 5 if he is required to support the other two children.
