I just have a question. We received our NOA2 on the 24th and I currently out of town for business and won't be able to go home for several more weeks. Is the NOA2 all that important that I should have a friend forward it to me or can I just wait until I get home?? Thanks!!

10/13/10-I129F mailed!!

10/31/10-Email and text NOA1! =)

03/24/11-NOA2!!!

06/02/11-Interview, Approved!!

Married 09/17/11

AOS:

11/15/2011-AOS Packet Sent.

11/17/2011-AOS Packet delivered.

12/28/2012-Biometrics

01/31/2011-AOS transferred to CSC.

02/01/2011-EAD Approved and Card Production E-mail.

02/07/2011-EAD Card Received in Mail.

05/10/2011-Filed 131.

And time marches on....

I don't think there's anything on the NOA2 that you don't already know - I can't see any reason you would need the hard copy in your hand until maybe the medical or the interview...

April, 2009 - We met

May, 2009 - We wooed

June, 2010 - We got engaged, looking forward to a small August 2010 wedding

July 22, 2010 - NOA1

**5 months of patient waiting**

December 29, 2011 - call around for information about delay

January 5, 2011 - RFE notice (first online status update yet!)

January 10, 2011 - RFE Hardcopy

January 13, 2011 - RFE Response acknowledged

January 24, 2011 - NOA2 (at last!!)

February 3, 2011 - application sent from NVC to Montreal (aka. the Abyss?)

March 7, 2011 - Packet 3 sent to me

March 10, 2011 - Packet 3 delivered to Montreal

March 21, 2011 - Packet 4 sent to me

April 5, 2011 - Medical

April 13, 2011 - Interview - approved!

April 20, 2011 - visa in hand

May 9, 2011 - POE (Buffalo, NY)

May 10, 2011 - wedding :)

Your fiancee will need it at the interview and I believe send a copy with her packet 3, but unless you get there, don't sweat it.
