After calling every civil surgeon in our area we finally found one who will transcribe my vaccinations to I-693 without doing a whole medical all over again and won't cost us a fortune. I have a copy of my medical from Slovenia (done within a year - December 2010) but missing Varicella shot so I'm guessing I will have to have that shot before they sign I-693.

So, I'm reading about all the medicals that mysteriously got lost in the transit from POE to USCIS and people getting RFE's for that, asking them to do a medical again.

My questions: If they lose your medical and send you RFE for it, asking for a new medical, do you have to do a medical again here in the States or will they accept a copy of medical from your home country?

Since I have a complete copy of my medical, I was thinking it would be a good idea to just send it with my AOS packet to avoid RFE, in case I am one of the unlucky ones whose medical got lost. Would that be a good idea or not?

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014

Ok so you are doing AOS now and they will have yur medical NO don't send the copy in just send off the paperwork for AOS and if they lose it you will be glad you have that copy as then you will be bable to send it in for the RFE. They lost mine but I was able to get a copy from my home country and send it in with RFE. Get the Varricella shot and then take that to the CS for the I-693 You will be good to go then.

Keep the copy of your medical and pray they don't lose your medical cause if you send the copy as well they could lose that too lol. Good luck
