I am planning on applying tourist Visa for my mom. My question is who should sponsor me with GC or my brother who is on H1B. Does this make any difference. Thank you.

First of all you don't apply for a tourist visa for your Mum she does that in her own country. All she has to do is prove strong ties with her home country like mortgage papers drivers license, anything to show she is returning to home country after her visit and that she can support herself while here.

I believe you can write an affidavit of support stating you'll pay for the expenses during her stay in the US plus a letter of invitation. I would recommend the GC holder to sponsor.

Applying for tourist visa is always a ####### shoot, she has to apply and see what happens, usually elderly people have more chance of being approved than young and attractive people.

You don't need I-134 for her tourist visa. You and your brother can send your bank statements and statements of other asset showing you guys would be paying for all the expense.

Does not matter either one or both can provide this documents, its not she can hide the information about either son, she will have to declare she has 2 sons and wht their status are.

More imortant is she will have to provide enough proof that the will return back to home country after her visit.

Yeah like Harsh_77 said you don't sponsor her with any form. She will need to inform consulate staff that she has 2 sons and that she will be visiting you and that you will take care of here while she visits. But she also has to prove that she has strong ties back in her home country and she is returning. If they ask for your bank statements then you can provide that for her but that's it.
