Hello everybody,

I need your advice/opinion about my case. Filed AOS Feb. 10, 2010. My AOS was transferred twice mailed originally to Chicago. Got NOA that they transferred my case to Califorinia Service Center. Got NOA again that they transferred my case to USCIS District Office at St. Louis, MO. Had my biometrics taken March 19, 2010 and interviewed at USCIS District Office St. Louis, MO. last Nov. 9, 2010.

I called up USCIS last March 14, 2011 regarding my case. USCIS says my case still under initial review. We haven't received any NOA for further supporting documents to be submitted nor a 2nd interview notice. How long do think should i wait?

I am 43 and my husband is 55. I have a very clean records in the Phil. Never been arrested. Same as my husband. He haven't got any ticket for traffic violations either. My husband is a City Employee. I am very much worried now about my status.

Have you tried doing a service request when you called (i.e. did they give you a service request code)? That is a very very long wait.

I would make an Infopass appointment to find out what's going on. At your interview did the IO give you any indication on whether or not you were going to be approved, or how long you would have to wait?

Get yourself in front of a USCIS officer with an Infopass. Depending on what they say, you may be able to get your senator involved if you don't get a satisfactory answer. But Infopass is definitely the next step. They will be able to tell you a lot more than over the phone.
